FIELD MARSHAL GAMING CONVENTION
The Field Marshal Gaming Convention is proud to announce that, with your help and generous support, we have raised over $400 in donations for the Wounded Warrior Project (Canada) to date.
A portion of all proceeds from ticket sales, silent auction(s) and other revenue sources are donated directly to the Wounded Warrior Project (Canada) on behalf of all of our guests.
In addition to the Wounded Warrior Project, your attendance at the Field Marshal Gaming Convention helps to support the Royal Canadian Air Cadets through a portion of the hall rental and lunch sales.
About the Wounded Warrior Project :
“Founded in 2006, Wounded Warriors Canada is a non-profit organization that helps Canadian Forces members – be they full time or reservists – who have been wounded or injured in their service to Canada.
Through a wide range of programs and services, we help find solutions where gaps have left our soldiers in need. Currently, our primary focus is on mental health and, particularly, the staggering impact of PTSD, perpetrated by Operational Stress Injuries. Overall, however, our mandate is to help any Veteran in need as they transition to civilian life.”
We will also have a donation box located at the front desk for anyone interested in donating directly to the Wounded Warrior Project.
CHEAT! (FOR CHARITY) TOKENS
In addition, we will be selling special CHEAT! (FOR CHARITY) tokens. 100% of the proceeds from these tokens will be donated to charity!
These special tokens can be used in your games to allow you one complete re-roll or re-draw per token!
Yeah, of course, this means you’re cheating, but it’s for charity! Who can complain about that?!
- Tokens cost $2 each.
- Limit of 2 tokens per player, per game
- Use must be agreed upon by all players involved (this is all for fun, after all)
- Not eligible for use in Tournaments or Prize games
- 100% of proceeds donated to charity!
We do ask that you please return the tokens to the front desk when they have been “used” in a game so that we can continue to use them for several years to come and continue to support worthy charities.
